Duvall and the All British Field Meet in Kenmore Washington

We towed the most recent MG project to Laura and Eric's in Duvall for the weekend.  The Western Washington All British Field meet was near there on Saturday at St. Edward's Park.  The U-Haul car hauler worked well so that was no excitement.  There were some moments of excitement though, relating to the hood support rod shorting across the two poles on the solenoid, lots of smoke and just a small flame.  No damage was done.

The Horne's are doing well, we had cherries, peaches and blackened marshmallows by the fire.

Pizza night with Ward, Amos, Audrey and Maggie.

Maggie and Amos pose for a picture.

Cousins meet, my Magnette and Eric's MGB.

Western Washington ABFM:
About 500 cars were on the field, fun to see all Marks in one place.

On the trailer, ready to roll to Washington.

Three Magnettes were on the field, mine has a few finishing touches left,
but is running fairly well.
The highlight of the car adventure was...
showing the car to the original owner.  Her wedding gift is looking good again, just a few more details and it will be as good as new.

Summer meals and the fourth of July

We eat most of our evening meals out on the patio between the pool and our pond.  It has been cool enough in the shade and clean up is easier.  After dinner on Monday we stayed out and had Family Home evening, after our lesson we played Poison Pole for our activity.  We joined hands and tried to pull someone into the poison pole to put them out.

Charlie loves to eat.

Josh and Allison and Allison's friend Liberty were the survivors.

Dug likes to play too.
The MGA coupe is proceeding well.  The frame is painted and the body is soon ready to go back on.  The frame looks like a go-cart, the kids like to pretend to drive it around like Danica Patrick.

Morgan the safety conscious,

Today is July Fourth, we are celebrating Independence, and Josh's birthday.  We went to Heritage Park to play in the fountains.  It is hot today, about 95 or so, and the water felt good.  Iva loved running through the fountains.  Tonight we will watch the fireworks and do a few small ones of our own.
