Samana and a return to work

Since Pres. and Sr Glazier are leaving this month a group decided to go for one last excursion. We drove to Samana on Tuesday and came back yesterday.  We stayed again at Vista Mare, a nice condo with great views of the ocean. We had a good trip, some good food and friends.  I had access to ESPN for the first time this football season so I watched the Gators fizzle in the Sugar Bowl.
The beach at our condo, Vista Mare.

Pres. Glazier, cocina desayuno.

Leaky dishwasher, typical DR experience.

Vista Mare restaurant, very nice. Ruckers and Fergusons.

Hillside view of Samana, above the harbor.

On Thursday night we went to the airport to meet the Elders and Sisters arriving from Provo.  This group is on the old schedule, so we will have them for six weeks.  There are six Elders and six Sisters, Elder Hofman from Pocatello is cousin to the Hofman's in Beacon Light Ward. The missionaries are happy to see friendly faces at the airport.

Happy on the walkway.
