Priesthood Restoration Commemoration Campout

Our Ward had the annual campout at Herrick Reservoir, north of us 1 hour just east of Cascade Lake. There are very nice ATV and single track trails there, and fishing.  The campsites are nice, scattered along the reservoir edge. Levi, now 5, Josh and I went up on Thursday, so we camped two night. The second was quite cold, about 28 or so at night.  In the roof-top tent we were warm and that foam mattress makes it very cushy for sleeping.

Memorial day weekend activities.

We had Meg home and kept fairly busy.  We went to a memorial flag display at our Eagle park.  We also went to Parma on Saturday for swimming, ATV riding and laying about.  Allison had her friend Maddy Williamson with us.

The wild snow goose is still doing fine, though its broken wing isn't healing as far as I can tell.  There are at least four Canada goose families there too, hope they all make it.

Carrie had some highlights done by Meg.

Levi received his summer buzz, we all have been rubbing it raw.

Loaded for the trip to Parma.  The paddleboat and aluminum
boat and electric motor are fun for touring.
The swim platform seemed to weather the winter well too.
The water was warm enough for some good
swimming.

Sunbathing and shade sleeping competition in progress.
